Coaching and 
Managing Teams

Good Sams Netball Club and the Sunshine Coast Netball Association are run by volunteers.

​

Without the support of parent volunteers our club and association would not exist.

​

Two of the ways in which parents can volunteer are by coaching or managing a team.

COACHING

Our coaches are a very important part of our club and we are committed to developing our netball coaches.

 

Both beginner and experienced coaches are welcome!

 

Our coaches are often older players who have played netball for many years and want to give back to their club, or they are parents of players themselves. 

​

All of our Coaches are required to be registered BlueCard Holders and have completed the online Foundation Coaching Course. 

 

The club can help you obtain these if you don't have them already and will reimburse any cost incurred.

If you would like to coach a team this year please email goodsamsnetball@gmail.com with the following information:

​

  1. Full name and contact details

  2. List any previous coaching experience (experience not necessary)

  3. Current Coaching Accreditation

  4. Age group preference

  5. Blue Card Status (if over 18 years)

​

 

 


 

 

 

Managers are there to support the Coaches and communicate important information to their teams. 

 

They guide a team through the season notifying of all important dates and helping out where necessary. This involves organising scoring or fruit rosters and other events.

​

Managers are required to be registered BlueCard holders. We can help you obtain if you don't already have one.

​
